The Foundation is raising money to finalize the purchase of the 12 acre parcel off of Sawmill Way, on the backside of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. This land will be protected and added to the 700+ acres of the Barber Pool Conservation Area. You can help add these 12 acres to protect both Shakespeare and the Barber Pool.
The Barber Pool is one of the largest blocks of superior undeveloped riparian habitat remaining for wildlife along the Boise River. Prime habitat combined with isolation from disturbance creates an oasis for wildlife. Over 200 wildlife species flourish in the Barber Pool.
